Dear Caron,

California’s 32nd Congressional District is one of the most diverse districts in the country. From urban neighborhoods to suburban communities, from Latino barrios to Asian businesses, the San Gabriel Valley is a unique melting pot of different cultures and ways of life that reflect the spirit of diversity of our nation as a whole.

In celebration of the unique character of our San Gabriel Valley, as your Congressional Representative for the 32nd District of California, it is my pleasure and honor to announce that Lincoln Training Center has been selected as the recipient of the 2010 Divercities Non-Profit of the Year Award.

This event will be a great opportunity to recognize our region’s diverse business, cultural and philanthropic communities. It will also be a good chance for me to share with you some of the exciting experiences, as well as the work I have been doing on your behalf in my first year as your Congresswoman in Washington.
