veteran celebrating with daughterAs we observe Veterans Day on November 11, Lincoln Training Center would like to take this opportunity to thank our Veterans for their service, dedication, and sacrifice. The Center strongly believes in giving back to those who have served our country. We are proud of our program that helps service-disabled veterans find new job opportunities through our partnerships with local businesses. To those who have served and those who continue to serve, thank you for the example you set for all of us.

Happy Veterans Day!

A Message from Lincoln Training Center President Caron Nunez

I am so proud and grateful for all of your efforts and dedication during these challenging times.

Your health and safety is our primary concern. Due to the Governor’s “Stay@Home” order, all of our offices are now closed to the public. The Work Activity Program will resume a regular schedule based on directives from Governor Newsom’s office. LTC’s Supported Employment janitorial crews, as well as groups working at companies that are designated as “essential services,” continue to provide assistance. LTC’s other programs remain open by operating in a different way, through phone calls and teleconferencing.

For questions about your program, please contact your job coach or counselor. For ongoing updates you can call Lincoln’s main number (626) 442-0621. We will also post them on our website as they become available.

We encourage you to do everything you can to stay well by following the CDC’s guidelines that have been widely publicized. We will get through this.

Caron Nunez
President
