COVID-19
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to evolve on a local, national, and global level, Lincoln Training Center (LTC) is taking all the recommended precautions to ensure we maintain a safe environment for our staff, the individuals we serve, and our community partners.
The COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly and is unpredictable, causing people to have legitimate concerns. We are listening to all partners and doing our best to ensure that the needs of people with disabilities are addressed and that LTC can continue to serve as a safety net for hundreds in our community.
We are carefully monitoring the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and we wanted to make you aware of some of the protocols that we are following. Employees who are sick are encouraged to stay home. We are working diligently to ensure that everyone is utilizing social distancing throughout all programs and following appropriate hand washing techniques.
Janitorial staff are elevating sanitation protocols by continuing to wear personal protective equipment, maintaining LTC’s hand-washing policy, and utilizing universal precautions. In an abundance of caution, LTC management has temporarily reduced staff in workshop operations located at our South El Monte headquarters. All other programs will continue to operate, offering critical resources to those in need until we are directed otherwise by local or state officials.
Lincoln Training Center is committed to the health and safety of all its employees and individuals served. As this is an evolving situation, we will continue to keep everyone informed as more information becomes available. For more than 55 years LTC’s strength has always been its people. Together, we will get through this challenging time.
